【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversquenched-and-temperedalloysteelandhigh-strengthlow-alloysteelplatesforpipingcomponentsandweldedpressurevessels.1.2Twotypesarecovered,whichprovidetwodifferentchemicalcompositionswiththesametensilerequirements.Bothtypesarequenched-and-temperedtoenhancemechanicalproperties.1.2.1TypeAisanalloysteelintendedforuseatlowambienttemperaturesofx2212;80x00B0;F[x2212;60x00B0;C]andhigher.1.2.2TypeBisahigh-strengthlow-alloysteelintendedforuseatambienttemperaturesofx2212;20x00B0;F[x2212;30x00B0;C]andhigher.1.3Themaximumthicknessofplatesislimitedonlybythecapacityofthechemicalcompositionandheattreatmenttomeetthespecifiedmechanicalpropertyrequirements.Individualmanufacturersshouldbeconsultedonthicknesslimitationssincecurrentindustrylimitationshavenotbeenascertainedtodate.1.4Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
