【摘要】:1.1.1ThisStandardcontainsthecompletegeneralanddimensionalrequirementsforMetricSeriesHexagonSocketButtonHeadCapScrewsofnominalsizesfrom3mmto16mmrecognizedasanAmericanNationalStandard.Alsoincludedareappendicescoveringformulasfordimensions,partnumberingsystemandpreferredsuesforgovernmentuse,andthreaddimensions.Theapplicationofthesescrewsislimitedbytheirdesignasdenotedbelow.Thisproductisdesignedandrecommendedforapplicationswherealowerheadprojlethanthatofthenormalsocketheadcapscrew(ASMEIAhWB18.3.1M)isrequiredtopreventinterference.Wrenchabilityissigngcantlyreducedduetothesmallersocketsandshallowerkeyengagementsand,becauseoftheheadconjguration,thepropertyclass12.9tensileloadswillnotbemet.Itmaybenecessarytoassemblethisproductusinganuttodevelopthefullclampingcapability.1.I.2TheinclusionofdimensionaldatainthisStandardisnotintendedtoimplythatalloftheproductsdescribedarest?ckproductionsizes.Consumersarerequestedtoconsultwithmanufacturersconcerninglistsofstockproductionsizes.
