【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofgas,oilandsolid-fuelburningapplianceshavingelectricalconnections,forhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.Thisstandardcoverstheelectricalsafetyandsomeothersafetyaspectsoftheseappliances.Allsafetyaspectsarecoveredwhentheappliancealsocomplieswiththerelevantstandardforthefuel-burningappliance.Iftheapplianceincorporateselectricheatingsources,italsohastocomplywiththerelevantpart2ofIEC60335.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount–persons(includingchildren)whose?physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or?lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;–childrenplayingwiththeappliance.Thisstandardhastobeappliedinconjunctionwiththerelevantstandardsforappliancesandforcontroldevices.ExamplesarelistedinAnnexesZAAandZBB.
